Information about scholarships can be found here: wcupa.edu/studyabroadscholarships I was told that I can encourage our program attendees to apply for the CIP Travel Award! The WCU Center for International Programs will review your applications even though it says this is only for credit barring programs.

  • Students of any year in school (graduate & undergraduate) and any major are welcome to come with us! You must be enrolled in the spring 2018 semester.

  • Flights: The University is currently in the middle of signing a contract with a travel agency. Once a travel agency is contracted and our participants are confirmed, we will be booking our flights together as a group. So no one will be booking their flights separately. We stay together the whole time. You will then owe the University for the cost of your flight (reminder: this is in addition to the program price).
  • International Programs has set up something great with the WCU Bursars Office. It’s now official that the program fees for this trip will be put as a separate line item charge on your spring semester bill. This charge should appear in December. That also means that you could work with the Bursars Office to develop a payment plan.

  • I can tell you that last year some students were able to use their Financial Aid to cover the cost of this trip. If you are interested in looking into this, please speak with WCU Financial Aid to discuss your specific situation to find out whether or not this might be an option for you. Dana Parker (dparker@wcupa.edu) is our contact over there that you should talk to.

  • We do not have a limit on the number of students we take. We can take as many students as we want. Typically we will take between 20 and 25 students on our trip.

Lets explore the world over Spring Break 2018 with your fellow WCU friends!
