The YEAR OF COLOR is here!
"Year Of" is an exciting new programming series that encourages collaboration, critical thinking, and multidisciplinary learning. Each year, a theme is chosen and student clubs/organizations and academic departments work together to develop new and thought-provoking events around this theme.
The goal is to provide enrichment to the WCU student population and the Borough community. Exploring all deviations of the chosen theme will provide an understanding of not only other art forms and disciplines but of the world as a whole.
To further this goal, Student Services, Inc will sponsor a Grants Program that will offer opportunities to create, participate in, and learn about the chosen theme. The Grants Committee will evaluate applications based on the quality and innovation of the project and its potential to engage and involve the WCU community. Applications must be multi-disciplinary and/or collaborative projects between student organizations, faculty, and academic departments.
